How Does Drano Max Gel Work To Clear Your Drains?

drano max gel unblocks clogsHere’s a common scenario, you have a bathtub drain that is so bad that when you take a shower you find yourself standing in a tub of water.

You’ve tried all kinds of home remedies for clogged drains to try and remove the clog and nothing seems to work and you’re just about to pick up your phone and call a plumber. But wait, not so fast.

Before spend your last dollars on a plumber there’s one method we suggest you try that will work so fast (on the majority of slow-moving drains) that it will astound you. We are talking about none other than Drano Max Gel.

How Does Drano Max Gel Work?

The great thing about the Max Gel is that you don’t have to use the entire bottle on your clogs for it to be effective even on the toughest clogs. If you buy the 80 fluid ounce bottle, using on 1/5 of the gel should be more than enough to do the trick.

Buying the larger bottle you actually get a lot bigger bang for your buck. Being able to get five uses out of one bottle is an awesome deal. Plus, unless you have really bad drainage problems on a consistent basis you may not need to use the gel for another 6 months after your drain is unclogged

  1. Take 1/5 of the 80 oz. bottle and pour it directly into the drain. You can measure it or simply eyeball it to see how much of the liquid you’ve already poured down the drain.
  2. Allow the Drano to sit for 15 minutes if you’ve got a normal clog or 30 minutes for very tough clogs.
  3. Turn on the hot water to flush the Max Gel and all of the gunk completely down the drain. Run the hot water for about 5 – 10 minutes for a thorough flushing.

This is one of the best and most cost-effective products on the market for removing clogs. So if you’ve already tried some of those other off-name brand products, that we won’t mention here, you will find that none of them work as flawlessly as Drano Max Gel.

If you’ve got a stubborn bathroom tub or sink give we recommend that you give Drano Gel a try and at a price point of about $15.00 for an 80 oz. bottle what do you have to lose?

If it doesn’t work on your clogged drain you can always call a plumber if all else fails. Good luck.
