How To Unclog a Grease Clogged Drain?
So you’re standing at the sink washing dishes after cooking some sausage and bacon. The question is what do you do with the grease in the pan when you’re done frying your healthy food? Do you pour it down the drain, even if its a small amount, and then follow it up with hot water?
This is not the way you should wash greasy pans because all the grease from your cooking goes down the drain. What you end up with is a slow moving drain that doesn’t smell fresh.
When you pour grease down the drain it starts out as a liquid but when it reaches the cold pipes it actually hardens and sticks to the insides of the pipes. This could lead to a very expensive plumbing bill.
Commercial Drain Cleaners – These products contain harmful chemicals like sodium hydroxide which cause skin irritations and emit gases that may cause serious respiratory problems through prolonged exposure.
Natural Drain Cleaners – These are a safe alternative to the commercial drain cleaners. They are safe, non-toxic and totally harmless. Best of all they are eco-friendly. They can remove grease and scum naturally with bacteria and enzymes. The natural bacteria, once introduced into the drainage, keep growing and constantly attack the problem of excess grease and other waste products in the pipe. Making natural drain cleaners is not a difficult task that you can easily replicate.
